The 2013 Brown List

The day you hoped for/feared is here.  The 2013 Brown List is complete.  A few interesting stats:
  • Total nominations topped out at just over 5,900.
  • The winner of the Most-Liked executive won with 384 nominations.
  • The "winner" of the Least-Liked executive garnered 830 nominations.
I will not spoil any more surprises.  So now, please enjoy the Brown List.  And if you hear any weeping noises, bring your boss a box of tissues. It's pretty clear he/she might need them.

And one last thing, Happy Boss's Day.

Funny thing is how Sharon Waxman received 38 votes for least-liked - yet she apparently loves your website . mmm problems ahead?

You missed a person I voted for, maybe next year you're excel skills will improve.

I would have voted more, but I didn't get the reminders you had sent in the past...

To the person who said I missed a person, you provided incomplete information or you were the one who wrote Jesus H. Christ. As a result, I deleted that one.

I'm just here to watch the shit storm in the comments, "blahzay blah at yadda yadda threatened to fire any assistant who didn't vote into the night to put him in as most liked." TNT knows drama, but so does the Brown List's comments section. Keep it real!

SO glad to have this list, so I know who to sort through!

Maybe next year, your grammatical skills will improve. @"Anonymous said...

The only reason Kris Nicolau isn't higher on the list of least liked is because her staff didn't know they could vote.

yah I would vote too! Mark Alan at Renfield (Joe Dante) is NOTORIOUSLY most-liked. He gets his staff drunk once a week. Send reminders more next year!!!

Nope, no Jesus H. Christ, but the other person I did vote for (I voted for 2) was featured in the list, so not sure how the other one was missed when they were within the same message.

And I need to improve my editing skills, not grammatical...I know my mistake.

I knew my former boss in the Match Game comments immediately...her body odor is impossible to forget. To be fair, she and the other female "journalist" bully each other mostly.

Taking this to my job interviews tomorrow....

A CAA hr executive quit with no notice a few weeks ago because of his boss (Pamela Wolfe). Not the first time I've heard what a nightmare she is. And she wants nothing to do with you unless you can do something for her.

I forgot to vote this year but would have definitely voted for Brian Graden. Top notch in a town full of a-holes.

I'm kind of surprised that Sean Dubravac got so many votes for least-liked considering how relatively small Royalty Rope is...however, it's not exactly undeserved.

I find it interesting that Bayan from Storyline got top 10 most-liked exec although he's an assistant and his bosses got over 20 votes for least-liked although they are pretty awesome...someone dislikes their job.

This list is a total joke. I worked directly for Steve Barnett and he is one of the nastiest people in Hollywood. He's mean, aggressive, conniving and will force out anyone who gets in his way. He's a perfect example of failing up because he's been fired from every job he's had. He likes to throw around his substantial weight by making deals that benefit his friends rather than his employers. He's a bully and likes to scream especially at his assistant and tiny wife. He is the absolute worst boss I've ever had and I've worked for a lot of aholes in Hollywood.

Love how Jill Weiss has been on the list for one of the least liked for many years and now all of a sudden she's on the Most liked list? Did she finally get laid????

can you post the results of the name/quote match game?

It seems like any hater online can just make hundreds of negative votes on an executive. This is not fair and it doesnt make sense. Each person should be able make only 1 vote.
