Hollywood Execs: They're Worth Every Penny

According to Variety, CW President Dawn Ostroff said she's planning on bringing back other remakes on her "network" for next season to add to a roster that already includes 90210 and Melrose Place.

"There are other shows we're looking at, but we can't talk about it yet," she said. "Remakes bring a built-in brand equity."

She did say she's not gonna bring back any old show.

"We're not going to be doing the The Dukes of Hazzard," she said.

That still leaves the door open for Enos: 2009!!

My contribution on remakes (all 70s):

Taxi - but all the cab drivers dreaming of bigger things are from India, Pakistan and the former Soviet Unioin. Think of their big dreams!

Diff'rent Strokes - but the adoptive parent is a hollywood actor and the kids are from South East Asia or Africa!

Barney Miller - I think "The Office" is kind of a rip-off of Barney Miller - It's time for the cop shows to rip-off "The Office"!

Wonder Woman - the gays will make it a hit!
