SCOOPEDJA -- Turnover at Endeavor

Word around the campfire is that Susan Solomon and Brian Lipson were let go from Endeavor.  If my sources are accurate, I've scooped Darling Nikki again.  If not, I'll follow Nikki's lead and congratulate myself on not running a rumor by actually running the rumor.

Temp X, you are amazing. I'm busting up here!

Not that I am the biggest Nikki Finke fan, but your self-perceived war with her has turned me off to what was once my favorite websites. Who cares? Yeah I like a laugh at Finke's expense as much as anyone and she can be as annoying as all hell (i.e. anytime she talks about unions), but you don't come off like a hero or something taking her on.

Also, I hope you read her update towards the end of today, because if it's true (and why would she make it up) patting yourself on the back for scooping her given the circumstances makes you look like a douche.

She's a professional journalist, you're an anonymous blogger. Why does it matter so much that people agree that you scooped her? Who gives a shit? The repeated whining about this is embarrassing.

I think you people are taking this feud a lot more seriously than Temp X is...

Yep, Lipson and Solomon are both out. The big loss is Lipson, according to people in the agency (I work for a boutique but don't know him personally outside of a few meetings), who's supposedly not only an actually good, decent person, but who ran their book department well. I've heard he had a longstanding feud with Jennifer Walsh, head of WMA books and, in the end, much more powerful than him. In the end, he's out. Solomon has always been easy to work with, on the two projects we've had together, but I can't say Endeavor will lose a lot without her.

Lots more where this came from, but mainly on the WM side. Bloodletting over the next 2 weeks.

Keep it up, Temp X...
